Synod of the Bishops for the Middle East<\/strong><\/p>\n

From 10th<\/sup> to 24th<\/sup> October the Special Assembly of the Synod of the Bishops for the Middle East will take place in Rome. Called for by Pope Benedict XVI after his travel to the Holy Land in May 2009, this extraordinary Special Assembly will tackle a number of crucial issues and brings about great hopes.<\/p>\n

The Exhibition on Christians in the Middle East<\/strong><\/p>\n

A multimedia exhibition about Christians in the Middle East organized by Edizioni di Terra Santa (\u201cTerra Santa\u201d Publishing House) in collaboration with ATS Pro Terra Sanctaon the occasion of the Special Assembly of the Synod of Bishops for the Middle East. It will take place in Rome from 10th<\/sup> to 24th<\/sup> October: texts, videos, photo reports will offer the possibility to know the Middle East and the Christian population living there.<\/p>\n

9th<\/sup> October 2010 \u2013 The 3rd<\/sup> Holy Land Volunteer Day<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 3rd<\/sup> Holy Land Volunteer Day<\/strong> will take place in Rome on October 9th<\/sup> , organized by Edizioni di Terra Santa (\u201cTerra Santa\u201d Publishing House) and with the participation also of ATS Pro Terra Sancta, the non-profit organization of the Custody of the Holy Land which has been availing itself\u00a0 for years of volunteers from all over the world<\/span> to carry on its activities and the projects of the Custody of the Holy Land in the Middle East.<\/p>\n
