{"id":22398,"date":"2012-09-15T10:07:03","date_gmt":"2012-09-15T09:07:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.proterrasancta.org\/?p=22398"},"modified":"2021-09-09T17:13:15","modified_gmt":"2021-09-09T15:13:15","slug":"bethlehem-back-to-the-classroom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/preprod.proterrasancta.org\/en\/bethlehem-back-to-the-classroom\/","title":{"rendered":"Bethlehem: back to the classroom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" title=\"Bethlehem schools\" src=\"https:\/\/www.proterrasancta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_1887piccola-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/>Even in the Holy Land the first day of school is finally arrived like every year. \u00a0In fact, the lessons are started again for the 1020 students of the institute &#8220;<em>Terra Sancta College<\/em>&#8221; of <strong>Bethlehem<\/strong>, school run by the Franciscan friars of the custody of the holy land.<\/p>\n<p>The return to the school activities is an important step for students, teachers, school staff and the Franciscans in Bethlehem.\u00a0 Thanks to the project called \u201c<em><strong>Supporting emergency education in the Palestinian Autonomous Territories<\/strong><\/em>\u201d, financed by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in collaboration with the AVSI Foundation and the project \u201c<em><strong>Together at school, against difficulty<\/strong><\/em>\u201d funded by the San Zeno Foundation, ATS pro Terra Sancta is providing support to the numerous children of a town signed by social, economic and political issues.<\/p>\n<p>Among the news inserted in the curriculum, there is the strengthening of the Italian course given the closeness and affection of Italy for the Holy Land.
