Moie (Ancona) \u2013 Another important award for the work of Father Armando Pierucci in Jerusalem.<\/p>\n

The Magnificat music school, which he directs and which was founded by him in order to provide a professional future for the youth of the Holy Land and to contribute to peace by bringing together people from diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds, will be the site of a concert as part of the Adriatic Mediterranean Festival. The Festival is supported by the Marche Region, Ancona Province and the municipality of Ancona, as well as by numerous foundations and institutions, including Premio Vallesina.<\/p>\n

The inauguration of the Festival, which consists of 100 events with the participation of 200 artists, will feature the choir from Father Armando\u2019s music school. In Jerusalem on 29 May the Marchigiana Philharmonic Orchestra will perform the \u201cStabat Mater\u201d and other sacred music of the three monotheistic religions, accompanied by the voices of the Magnificat choir. The \u201cAdriatic Mediterranean Prize\u201d will conclude in the autumn in Ancona with the award to Father Armando of the Festival Prize for his involvement in encouraging coexistence and the promotion of different cultures.<\/p>\n

During the presentation of the Festival project, which took place in Regione, the president of Ancona Province, Patrizia Casagrande, had emphasized the importance of Father Armando\u2019s work in favor of peace and in support of cultural and professional growth for the youth of Jerusalem, and had expressed her satisfaction with the awards that have been arriving from various parts for Father Pierucci, himself a native of Moie. Ancona Province has supported on a number of occasions initiatives carried out by the Magnificat and promoted by Premio Vallesina.<\/p>\n
