Pierbattista Pizzaballa (currently the Apostolic Administrator of the <strong>Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem<\/strong>) when the project of the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.terrasanctamuseum.org\/en\/\"> <strong><u>Terra Sancta Museum<\/u><\/strong><\/a> was presented in Jerusalem in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>So it was for <strong>Rozan<\/strong> and <strong>Dima<\/strong>, two 27-year-old girls working with great passion and enthusiasm at Terra Sancta Museum.<\/p>\n<p>Both come from the most important <strong>places of the life of Jesus<\/strong>: one from <strong>Jerusalem<\/strong> and the other from <strong>Bethlehem<\/strong>. Everyday, they welcome the many pilgrims and tourists who enter the <strong>Monastery of the Flagellation<\/strong> and visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.terrasanctamuseum.org\/en\/discover-the-via-dolorosa\/\"><strong><u>multimedia museum \u201cVia Dolorosa\u201d<\/u><\/strong><\/a>, before they start the <em>Via Crucis<\/em> and head to the Holy Sepulcher. They both know different languages \u200b\u200band speak a perfect Italian since they both have studied in Milan. Dima studied Languages and International Relations, while Rozan studied Educational Sciences.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.proterrasancta.org\/it\/con-rozan-e-dima-al-terra-sancta-museum\/dsc_1607\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-103615\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-103615 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.proterrasancta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC_1607-240x160.jpg\" alt=\"Rozan TSM\" width=\"320\" height=\"213\" srcset=\"https:\/\/preprod.proterrasancta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC_1607-240x160.jpg 240w, https:\/\/preprod.proterrasancta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC_1607-400x267.jpg 400w, https:\/\/preprod.proterrasancta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC_1607-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/preprod.proterrasancta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC_1607-980x654.jpg 980w, https:\/\/preprod.proterrasancta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC_1607-480x320.jpg 480w, https:\/\/preprod.proterrasancta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC_1607.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI had a very difficult childhood\u201d says Rozan, \u201cit was full of pain and with many privations. I felt a great emptiness that I filled with anger and mistakes, and a false good life. Then, thanks to some friends, I had the opportunity to start a new chapter in my life, to study and to go to Italy&#8230; <strong>Association pro Terra Sancta <\/strong>is like a family for me, it gave me the opportunity to work, and also made grow as a person. Here at <strong>Terra Sancta Museum<\/strong>, for example, I found out that I really like help the <strong>children<\/strong> discover their<strong> heritage<\/strong> and their<strong> history<\/strong>. This is an activity that almost no one does in this land. As a result today I feel safer and also that people are proud of me. I want every child to experience the same\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Dima, has been working here for less time. At the same time she is still studying lyrical \u00a0at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.magnificat.custodia.org\/en\/\"><strong><u>Magnificat Institute<\/u><\/strong><\/a> of the <strong>Custody of the Holy Land<\/strong>. Since she was little she had the opportunity to travel abroad. &#8220;I like to discover everything! \u2018it\u2019s beautiful to discover new things\u2019, my mother has always told me, and I always tried to learn and to under<a href=\"https:\/\/www.proterrasancta.org\/it\/con-rozan-e-dima-al-terra-sancta-museum\/dsc_1637\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-103616\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-103616 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.proterrasancta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC_1637-240x160.jpg\" alt=\"Dima TSM\" width=\"392\" height=\"261\" srcset=\"https:\/\/preprod.proterrasancta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC_1637-240x160.jpg 240w, https:\/\/preprod.proterrasancta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC_1637-400x267.jpg 400w, https:\/\/preprod.proterrasancta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC_1637-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/preprod.proterrasancta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC_1637-980x654.jpg 980w, https:\/\/preprod.proterrasancta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC_1637-480x320.jpg 480w, https:\/\/preprod.proterrasancta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC_1637.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 392px) 100vw, 392px\" \/><\/a>stand everything I saw. So after studying tourism at the <strong>University of Bethlehem<\/strong>, I went to Italy. Then I left again for an Erasmus in Spain, then France and Portugal. Now I want to give my contribution here. <em>Al-\u1e25amdu lill\u0101h<\/em> (thanks to God)&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>They both talk about how nice it is to work with the <a href=\"http:\/\/custodia.org\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Franciscans of the Custody<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, especially with the Director of the Museum, <strong>Fr. Eugenio Alliata<\/strong> who helped them to get to know the history of the place. \u201cI like to help the pilgrims who come to pray and occasionally ask me for information, it&#8217;s like helping them to follow physically, the <strong>steps of Jesus<\/strong>\u201d Dima says.<\/p>\n<p>In the future Rozan would like to work with children in the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.terrasanctamuseum.org\/en\/locations-and-collections\/archaeological-section\/\"><strong>archaeological section<\/strong><\/a><\/span> of Terra Sancta Museum, and Dima is looking forward to doing more and more for this place, for herself and for his land . \u201cMaybe one day I will become an ambassador\u201d, she says finally, \u201cbut for the time being I&#8217;m here and I want to do my best for this place!\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.proterrasancta.org\/project\/en\/jerusalem-terra-sancta-museum\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Support the Terra Sancta Museum!<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/h2>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;The museum will be a source of social development for the local population&#8221;: this is one of the goals set by the former Custos of the Holy Land, Fr.
